Our Medicaid Waiver Services

The plan of care from DHS will include a certain number of hours per month that we can provide a caregiver in the home of the recipient. While in the home the caregiver can assist with tasks including, but not limited to; bathing, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, consuming meals, meal preparation, meal assistance, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands and assistance with ambulation.  We will develop a service plan, with the recipient and/or their family, based on the recipient’s specific needs.

Respite care is defined as the temporary relief of the primary family caregiver who is providing long-term care for an individual in their home. Respite care services allow the primary caregiver an opportunity to leave their home for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to; medical appointments, shopping, to visit with friends or just to take a well-deserved break

Case management is a service that assists individuals in gaining and coordinating access to necessary care and services appropriate to the needs of the individual.  Medicaid covered targeted case management is a referral for service that assists beneficiaries in accessing all medical, social, educational and other services appropriate to the beneficiary’s needs. This service is offered by ACMC and provided to beneficiary’s who receive Arkansas Medicaid waiver services via ARChoices Programs.
